World Cup 2022 Betting Winner Odds

World Cup 2022 Winner odds have been released by most major bookmakers.

Holders France are offered at 7.50 to become only the third side in history to retain the World Cup, following Italy in 1934 and 1938 and Brazil in 1958 and 1962. After defeating Spain in the Nations League final, Les Bleus are the favourites alongside Brazil to claim the title in Qatar.

Brazil at 7.00 is the favourites by most bookmakers to win the World Cup, and despite losing the Copa America final to Argentina in the summer, they will be in that position for next winter’s World Cup in Qatar. Players like Neymar will consider this as their final chance to win the most famous trophy in football.

The bookmakers have made England third favourites at 8.50 to win the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.  Gareth Southgate’s team has come a long way in the last year and came close to winning the Euros last summer, losing on penalties to Italy in the final.

Spain, the world champions in 2010, is offered at 9.00 and, despite being underdogs, fared well in the Nations League. Luis Enrique continues to impress as national team manager, as his squad qualified for the World Cup with a spirited 1-0 home victory against Sweden in their final qualifier. Talented youngsters such as Pedri and Gavi have another year to perfect their game before competing in Qatar and might play important roles.

Germany (11.00) and Argentina (12.00) are in the World Cup with a good chance to win it, and Belgium (13.00) are also contenders in what is likely to be the nation’s final big event for the golden generation.

Winners of the Euro 2020 Italy is (15.00) following a slump in form following their triumph against England, which has resulted in them finishing second in their qualification group. Roberto Mancini will now have to lead his squad through the playoffs.

The World Cup has never been won by a team from outside of Europe or South America, and the best-priced teams from outside of those regions are Mexico and the United States, both at 81.00 – 101.00. Algeria, led by Riyad Mahrez, is Africa’s best bet at 151.00.
