Watford snapped a seven-game losing streak in all competitions with a 1-1 draw with Newcastle last weekend.
Watford’s biggest problem is still their defense; Claudio Ranieri’s team hasn’t kept a single clean sheet so far this season in the Premier League, but their transfer activity over the last fortnight to sign Hassane Kamara from Nice, Samir from Udinese and Edo Kayembe from KAS Eupen in Belgium appeared to have added more steel in the team.
Nevertheless, Watford have lost each of their last four home league games and are missing quite a few players with five-goal attacker Ismaila Sarr still out.
Norwich is coming off a 2-1 victory against Everton last Saturday, winning two of its last three games in all competitions. Despite scoring twice against Everton, Norwich are still the lowest scorers in all English leagues this season (10 goals) and have the worst defensive record in the Premier League this year (45 goals conceded).
Additionally, the Canaries have scored just 3 goals and have conceded 25 goals away from home, the most in the Premier League.
Norwich will lineup without goalkeeper Tim Krul because of a shoulder problem suffered late on in the win over Everton, while midfielder Kenny McLean is back available
